Nollywood Actress Nse Ikpe Etim recently told a reporter that some fans forget that everyone sometimes get depressed (including celebrities). She says one of the reasons why she loves acting is because she realized she could help someone. She went further to say that there are several conditions some people don’t know other people have and live with.
“I’d like to play someone schizophrenic, depressed, or on drugs because I know I will be helping someone”
Nse also pleaded with government officials to do something about the current situation in Jos, Nigeria. When a reporter asked Etim how she felt about the chaos in Jos, especially because that was one of the locations she spent most of childhood. She replied:
It makes me wonder why we can’t have peace...”
