Top nollywood actress, Sola Kosoko, has given birth to a bouncing baby girl. The actress who delivered the baby in New York, USA, on Saturday, July 19th, 2014, it should be recalled, travelled out of the country sometime in June in the last trimester of her pregnancy.
Sola is veteran actor, Jide Kosoko’s daughter, and PlaygroundTV can authoritatively reveal that he is overjoyed at welcoming his grand-daughter. Meanwhile, it is a joyful moment in the Kosoko's family and their in-laws. Sola's husband who is still in Nigeria is also full of excitement.
Contrary to reports in a section of the media that veteran actress, Idowu Phillips (Mama Rainbow) is the mother of the husband, Kosoko's family sources hinted that Mama Rainbow is well-respected in the family, and her role at the wedding, especially dancing with all the joy in her heart with Sola's husband made many guests to conclude that she was the mother of the groom.
The husband’s name is Abiodun Abina, and the duo got married in January 2012. Sola's baby came at exactly one minute after 1:00 AM, precisely 6AM Nigerian time.
While the beautiful actress in “Valley Between” was reported to have delivered a baby some weeks ago, her dad told PlaygroundTV that it was her elder sister that actually had a baby. Apparently in joyful mood, Prince Jide Kosoko said, “I feel so happy; I feel great that as she was born, she has also given birth. I'm happy for her, happy for the husband and all her well-wishers. I pray that God will heed all the heart's desires of everyone looking up to their Maker for the fruit of the womb,” the proud grand-dad enthused.
