Cult Groups Kill two In Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State

 


Two persons were killed by suspected cult members in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, on Sunday (yesterday) evening.

Goldmyne gathered that the incident occurred at a local herbal drinking joint at Aleke, Oke Sopen area of the town.


The victims, Olaniyi Owonla and Seun Fenuga were said to be prominent members of a cult group known ‘Eiye Confraternity’.

The duo were said to have been shot dead by members of rival cult group known as the Black Axe or Aye Confraternity in retaliation of the death of one of their members that was killed on the 2nd of January 2013 by Eiye Confraternity.

Goldmyne Investigations revealed that more than 16 persons have so far been killed in the last 14 Months as a result of supremacy battle between the two cult groups in the town.
