News Break: Supreme Court Discharged and Acquitted PDP Chieftain, Bode George of All Corruption Charges




The Supreme Court of Nigeria presided over by panel of judges ended the conviction of Bode George, a Chieftain of People Democratic Party that was earlier jailed for corruption by a Lagos High Court.

This came two days after the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo accused President Jonathan of aiding and encouraging corruption in Nigeria.

The court alleged that the prosecution at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had no enough evidence to support its claim.

Mr. Goerge was caught committing fraud at Nigeria Port Authority, NPA, where he was caught presiding over a contract bazaar that bled Nigeria
